Frenship ISD announced that Lela Vela, FISD director of finance, has been selected as a 2022 Rise Award recipient by the Texas Affiliation of University Business Officials.
Vela is a single of only 7 public training administrators across the condition of Texas to get the award this yr, according to a news release from the district.
Vela and the other recipients of the Increase Award were picked primarily based on their management attributes, achievements, and their need to continue expanding their occupation. Vela has been with the Frenship household for 10 yrs, serving in different roles within the Frenship ISD Business Business office together with Accountant, Coordinator of Accounting, and now Director of Finance. Not only is Vela an energetic member of TASBO, earning their greatest certification of Registered Texas Faculty Small business Administrator, but she also participates in different community and Frenship committees and serves as a mentor to young organization gurus and learners.
